A graphic designer and a book lover with a penchant for role-playing games and wargaming.

I’ve spent the last decade laying out books and magazines, editing them and proofreading, playing RPGs, designing packaging for wargames, painting miniatures, writing fantasy and steampunk stories, reading comic books, correcting mistakes in books, photographing minis, watching way too many TV shows, playing way too many MMORPGs, writing way too long sentences, managing projects and expectations, creating my own worlds, and drawing fanarts, maps and character portraits.

I’m also a fully qualified librarian and overall a passionate individual who’d perfectly happy to spend her life making other people’s stuff (well, mostly books) pretty and their writing 100% publishable.

Employment history:
• Independent Graphic Designer / Editor at Double Proficiency (January 2019 – now)
Freelance designer working with writers, game designers and publishers. Latest clients: FASA Games, Letiman Games, Green Ronin Publishing, Wider Path Games, Room 17 Games, Warlord Games, Nextquisite.

• Graphic Designer / Design Studio Manager at Warlord Games, Nottingham (January 2015 – January 2019)
Working as a manager in a busy design studio of a international company producing historical miniatures. My tasks included branding, production of packaging according to company’s brand guidelines, book editing, proofreading and layout, and preparing the files according to printers’ specifications – all of this while working within tight, weekly deadlines to allow for continuous releases of new products.

• Social Media Manager / Copywriter at ShowMedia, Toruń (November 2013 – October 2014)
Creating original content for social media: copywriting, banners, graphic design, film post-production. Creating, managing and growing business presence of clients across social media channels, including but not limited to blogs, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Building strategies of presence of clients across social channels, using benchmarking and analytic tools. Moderating user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community. Creating presentations using Power Point, Keynote and Prezi.

• Proofreader / Editor at Adam Marszałek Publishing House, Toruń (September 2013 – September 2014)
Proofreading and editing galley proofs and electronic copies of books in science publishing house. Organising own work, meeting strict deadlines, working in professionally demanding single-tasking environment with personal responsibility.

An MA degree in Information Science in Librarianship, with specialisation in book and magazine design. The Master’s thesis on typography.
